Me

Hello, and thanks for visiting my site. I am a photographer, graphic designer and adventure travel guide living in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. I began shooting portrait photography 18 years ago as a way to support my habit of skiing when I lived among the peaks of the Colorado Rockies. My time spent creating photography outdoors developed further when I became an adventure travel guide. My job took me from the Mediterranean to the shores of Hudson Bay and to the North and South Poles and I’ve always traveled with my camera. As a graphic designer, I often find it easier to shoot what I need rather than find images elsewhere. My education focused on Anthropology and Art, both of which have informed my sensibilities as a photographer and my sensitivities to the cultures and beliefs of my subjects.
